Groomed brows are the perfect way to finish off your look for your upcoming photoshoot. Just be sure to do any brow grooming several days before your shoot so that your brows are not red or puffy for your photos.
Eyebrows are trending towards a full, groomed and natural look.
If you don’t feel comfortable with creating your own brows I suggest purchasing a stencil. You can find them and your local beauty supply store.
You can also create your brow by the shape of your face.
The shape of your brows can be determined with three simple measuring points that accurately determine the best brows for your face shape. Place a straight object, like a ruler or pencil:
1. On the inner bridge of the nose going up to the top of the eyebrow. (Not the outer part of the nose.) This is where the brow should begin.
2. On a diagonal from the outer corner of the nose to the crease of the eye (and keep going to the brow bone!) for where the eyebrow should end.
3. From the outer iris (the color of the eye) to the top of the eyebrow for where the high point or the arch of the brow should be.
Choosing what to fill your brows in with is more of a personal choice. There are many options to choose from pencil, gel, powder. So how do you choose and once you have chosen how do you apply and get it to look right?
Pencils give you a more precise application. I like a nice thin, soft, powder pencil they are easy to blend. Use very soft, short strokes to fill in and shape the brow.
If you choose powder get yourself a good angled brush and again short, soft strokes.
For the day of your shoot, try a brow gel. It will help hold your look in place and you will look perefct for your shoot!
