I often run across clients that come to us to photograph their products because they have first tried to do it themselves and they did not like the results. It seems so easy, just set up a $20 lightbox bought from Amazon, with a cheap lighting kit and shoot the images with your cell phone or entry level DSL right??
Yeah.... Tell that to someone who has bought all the stuff, tried it themselves, and failed. Their listing didn't get a lot of views, they wasted money and maybe more importantly time. They never achieved the correct visuals to help sell their product. They didn't know what specifically to photograph, or how to angle it just right so that the shadows look good, or how to get that 255 white that is needed for main listings on most seller sites.
Hiring a professional team will eliminate all the above problems, plus give you the peace of mind that you are going to get your images approved to start selling your product. I have had so many people tell me that they did all the work themselves and in the end the images weren't approved for selling and they didn't know why. Maybe they were the wrong size, or they weren't on the correct WHITE background etc. Images can get rejected for a lot of reasons. A professional will make all of that a non-issue.
